Mr. Steven Scott Bolton, 52, of Shepherdsville, returned to his Heavenly Father Tuesday, September 12, 2017. Steve was a true man of God. Through every step he walked on this Earth, he showed a passion for life and lived his life to the fullest every day. He was committed to his faith, family and profession. He was the most loving husband to his wife Lisa of 21 years after being high school sweethearts. He was the most wonderful and giving father to his children Erika and Brendan and they were his pride and joy. His top priority was to help them reach their fullest potential in life. The legacy of his kind spirit, passion for the great outdoors and the joy of laughter will live on through them. All who knew Steve loved him. He will be remembered by all for his contagious smile, love for life and joy of laughter.
In addition to his wife and children, he leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Eugene and Ruth Bolton; sisters, Renee Roberts (Mike), Lisa Wilson and Laura Russell; niece, Amy Luna (Joe) and nephew, Michael Roberts Jr. (Rebecca).
Funeral service will be held at 12 pm Saturday, September 16, 2017 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Friday, September 15, 2017 from 4pm until 8pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home and Saturday from 10am until the time of the funeral service. www.subfuneralhome.com
