Martha J. McAllister, 61, of Louisville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, March 27, 2017. Mrs. McAllister, was born in Baldwin Mississippi on July 3, 1955 to Luther Bedford, and Marlene McDonald (Brown). Mrs. McAllister was a pastor's wife, and a loving mother who was devoted to her family and her church.
Mrs. McAllister is preceded in death by her mother, Marlene McDonald Brown; her father, Luther Bedford; her stepfather, Norman McDonald Sr.; her stepmother, Linda Bedford; and two sisters, Gloria Deason and Norma Baker.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Anthony G. McAllister; four daughters, Lisa Wilson, Rhonda McCaslin, Christy McAllister, and Tina Carroll; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; four sisters, Mary Bass, Margaret Stroud, Peggy Bedford, Shelia Parker; and three brothers, Norman McDonald Jr., Randy Bedford, and Roger Bedford, and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, April 1, 2017, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood, and Brooks Funeral Home 4895 N. Preston Hwy. (at Brooks Rd.), with cremation to follow. Friends and family may pay their respects on Friday, March 31, from 2:00 until 8:00 pm and on Saturday from 10:00am until time of the service.
