Marshall Leland Hill, 72, of Middletown, returned to his Heavenly Father on Monday, April 17, 2017. Mr. Hill worked with Ford Motor Company at KTP for 42 years, he also retired from the Army Reserves after 28 ½ years. He served with the U.S Army during Desert Storm in the 5010 Army Hospital Unit. He was a member of UAW 862, VFW Middletown Post, and Zion United Baptist Church. Among those that preceded him in death included his parents, Forest Hubert Hill & Edna Marie Hill; brother, Mitchell Hill, sister, Barbara Beatty, and brother-in-law, William Beatty. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Larisa Hill; son, Rex Hill (Christina); grandchildren, Macy & Miles; sister, Glenda Hill King (Scott), sister-in-law, Wilma Hill; mother-in-law, Yulia Gorovaya.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 11:00 am at Lone Hill United Baptist Church, 5410 Mt. Washington Rd., Louisville, KY 40229, with burial to follow in Lone Hill United Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood, & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) from 1:00pm until 8:00pm, there will be visitation also on Friday, April 21, 2017 at Lone Hill United Baptist Church from 10:00am until time of service.
