Mr. James R. Breckenridge, Sr., age 54, of South Louisville returned to his Heavenly Father on August 8, 2017. Mr. Breckenridge was a retired postal worker and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 10 years, Amanda Reece Breckenridge; children, Janae, James, Jr., Jakesha, Jason, Jaquay, Isaiah and Makayla; 10 beloved grandchildren; mother, Betty Jean Fant Breckenridge; and 6 siblings.
Funeral service will be conducted at 5 pm on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Kentucky Veterans Central Cemetery in Radcliff, KY on Wednesday at 11 am. Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday from 3 pm until time of service at the funeral home. Obituary on
