Mrs. Guadalupe "Lupe" Minjares Cannon, age 66, of Shepherdsville returned to her Heavenly Father on March 14, 2017. Mrs. Cannon worked for the Bullitt County Public Schools and was a member of Little Flock Baptist Church. Among those that preceded her in death include her parents, Francisco and Anna Gonzalez Minjares; and sister, Carmen Godfrey. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 43 years, Doug Cannon; children, George Cannon (Melissa) and Michelle Maddox (Cory); 6 grandchildren; and siblings, Andy Minjares, Patty Gaygot, Adrien Minjares, Aurora Wrangler and Sandra Ellis.
Funeral service will be conducted at 10 am on Friday, March 17, 2017 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with cremation to follow. Friends may pay their respects on Thursday from 2-8 pm at the funeral home. Obituary on www.subfuneralhome.com
