Mr. Embry E. Beckman, 85, raised in Slabtown, returned to his Heavenly Father Monday, September 4, 2017. He was a member of Operators Union 181. Among those who preceded him in death include his parents, Edward and Emma Beckmann; wife, Eunice Beckman; siblings, Roy, Henry, Edward, Alice and Marcela Beckmann. He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Embry Beckman II "Buster" (Carla), John Beckman (Bonnie), Marc Beckman (Cherry) and Jayson Beckman; grandchildren, Todd Beckman (Faye), Victor Smith, Jacob Beckman, Jessica Beckman, Samantha Beckman, Kayla Beckman, Kylie Beckman and Whitney Beckman; great-grandchildren, Logan, Adelynn and Laneah; brother, Clarence Beckmann; numerous nieces and nephews and other loving extended family members.
Funeral service will be held at 12 pm Friday, September 8, 2017 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial in Highland Memory Gardens. Friends may pay their respects on Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 2pm until 8pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home. www.subfuneralhome.com
