Cynthia Fay Fuqua, 70, of Okolona formerly of Camp Taylor returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, July 17, 2017.
Mrs. Fuqua was born August 13, 1946 in Louisville and a baker at Mother's Cookies. She was a member of Central Christ of Christ.
Among those that preceded her in death include her husband, Macy Thomas Fuqua Jr.; daughter, Tina Fuqua; and siblings, Lucille Mobley, Kirby Bond and Tony Bond.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Kevin Fuqua (Theresa), Gina Fuqua (Kenny); grandchildren, Tyler, Stormi, Samantha, Krista; great grandchild, Rylie; and siblings, Margaret Straub, Sylvia Parkhurst, Kenny Bond, Ronnie Bond, Angie Snellen, Larry Bond and Virginia Newsome and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood, & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with burial in St. Stephens Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Thursday from 1:00 pm until 8:00pm and after 9:00 am on Friday until the time of service at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or the Ovarian Cancer Foundation.
