Mrs. Betty Lou Gibson, 85, of Uneeda, West Virginia passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville, KY.
Mrs. Gibson was born on November 6, 1931 at Hunter's Branch in Boone County, West Virginia . She was a retired CNA and worked at nursing homes for years and in private care. Among those that preceded her in death include her parents, Ed Tackett and Anna Reba (Sutphin) Cantley; first husband, Benjamin William Yeomans; second husband, Russell Cleveland East; third husband, Joseph Ervin White, fourth husband, Paul Gibson; granddaughter, Lisa Lynn Yeomans; and her sister, Elizabeth Ann (Cantley) Childress. She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Charles Richard East Sr. of Louisville, KY, Danny William (Debbie Ann) Yeomans of Uneeda, WV and Russell Clarence (Barbara) East of Whitehouse, TN; sisters, Linda Lou (Cantley) (Bill Bias) of Powell Creek, WV and Glema Jean (Cantley) Kayfas of Lincoln County, WV; 5 grandchildren, Jennifer Dawn (East) (Gary Judd) of Louisville, KY, Charles Richard Jr. (Elisa East) of CA, Angela Marie (Yeomans) Hager of Kanawha City, WV, Cindy Ann (Yeomans) Duncan of Stoney Point, NC, and Ciara Marie Carder of Uneeda, WV; 9 great- grandchildren, Collen Dean Sr. (Kristine Judd) of Louisville, KY, Mara Lyndsey Judd of Louisville, KY, Joshua Richard East of CA, Malyia Savahn East of Ft. Lewis, WA, Jared Matthew Hager of Spruce Laurel, WV, Joshua Tyler Hager of Mud River, WV, Abigail Hope Monhollen of Kirby, WV, Megan Danielle Duncan of Stoney Point, NC, and Dayton William Yeomans of Kanawha City, WV and two great-great-grandchildren, Collen Dean Judd "CJ" Jr. of Louisville, KY, and Ella Kay Judd to be born in August. Mrs. Gibson wished to be cremated, no services will be held, her cremated remains will be buried at a later date.
