I can't believe we are saying so long to our dear friend so soon. I will miss his wise counsel, all the hard times and good times on 7S. His quick wit, his pranks, and side splitting humor, but most of all that dimple smile! Lisa my heart and prayers go out to you Erica and Brendon, he talked so much about all of you. And his parents and family. Love, Vicki

Loved working with Steve at UofL! He will be missed by all who knew him. So sorry for your loss!

Steve had the most contagious smile. You could be having the worst day at work and come down the hall and see his big smile and you couldn't help but smile back at him and your bad day would change. He will be missed dearly. 7 s will never be the same. He taught so many people over the years, I can't imagine him not being there. Even after I left he was still there to help me if I needed him. I all had to do was call. We love you Steve.

Steve was a great pleasure for me and my husband to have known. He has been out to our farm in Shelby Co hunting many times. He gave us deer bacon and summer sausages and would visit the longest times. Was not only a wonderful nurse but a great friend. Love memories. Melva

My heart is so heavy as I type this. Steve, you were a great mentor and friend. All the memories from 7 South will live on forever! Not a day went by when you didn't make us all laugh even though our job was often sad and stressful. RIP my friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
